Spouse (deceased)SALUTE TO ANOTHER FALLEN COMRADE:
Commander William R. Ross passed away 1 June 2003. Let us remember his service to this great nation and the community.
He joined the Navy in 1938 and retired as a Commander in 1962, serving in WWII and Korea. We thank CDR Ross for his
participation with MOAA. Our condolences to Irene Ross and her family.
Henry Sipple writes: Our family took a trip to California and had a great time visiting our son, Craig and family. We
enjoyed playing with our granddaughter, Camille, who is 2 years old and she got to know who we are. We visited
Disneyland, California Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, and even got a chance to go to Newport Beach for one day. We all
had a very nice time with another family whose daughter is our son, Dale's sister. He spent some time bonding with her and
getting to know her after all these years. All in all, we had a great time together visiting each other. Sunny California is still
sunny and nice to visit. We will be going out to visit them again in a couple of years.
